		<description>Yeah installing the official StatCounter plugin is a good idea for WP bloggers who change their theme periodically so that they don&#039;t have to re-implement the code again.

However, installing a plugin will increase the database which slightly increase the blog load time a bit longer as it calls up data from the database.

So for those like me, that use only a single theme and never gonna switch it, I&#039;d suggest adding the code into your widgets/sidebar instead for the sake of blog speed.
