WordPress 2.7.1 is available, the first 2.7 maintenance release, is now available.
The new releases fixes 68 tickets. You can read the fixes here and more detailed on WordPress Blog. (Note: the link full set of changes between 2.7 and 2.7.1 on WordPress Blog is not working properly)
It’s so cool that now WordPress 2.7 can do automatic upgrade. To upgrage to the new version, click on Tools > Upgrade. I tried to upgrade all my blog to WordPress 2.7.1 but all failed with error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class pclzip in /home/szehau/domains/szehau.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-pclzip.php on line 171
I’m not sure if this is a bug in WordPress 2.7.1. I think I have to wait a few more days later to see if there is a newer version to fix the problem.

The problem can be fixed by disabling the “WordPress Automatic Upgrade”. The WordPress now come with built-in auto upgrade feature so the the plugin is no longer necessary 🙂
